Product Description:
This “Original TV Series Screen Model” is different to the “Original Concept Design” by having a one-tone colour appearance. This is the TV Filming version of the battlecruiser, which due to budget constraints, was illuminated from various angles with coloured lights to give a menacing presence.
The 1:350 Klingon D7 Battle Cruiser Original TV Series Screen Model
Designed by Matt Jefferies and built by AMT, this model was the first actual on-screen appearance of a Klingon ship in Star Trek™. Due to budget constraints during filming, the model was left unpainted and instead lit from below to create a distinctive, menacing greenish hue.
This model is in 1:350 scale, spans over 26 inches in length, and is crafted using sturdy die-cast components. It has remote-control LED light features, an opening shuttle bay, and a spotlight display base to make it shine in your collection.
